No extra links in the supply chain here. Just products that are more sustainable, have fewer environmental impacts, and simply taste better.
When our independently owned and operated Flagship and Fleet locations are able to serve the products of local farms and fishing vessels, it directly benefits our local economies and supports our neighborhood communities.
Our History
1969 : Herb Rosen, a WWII veteran and fish & chips enthusiast, established Skippers Fish and Chips Chowder House in Bellevue, Washington.
1970’s : Award winning Clam Chowder and All-You-Can-Eat Specials spur rapid growth and the opening of new locations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
1980’s : With over 200 locations across the Western states, and into British Columbia, Skippers becomes the fourth largest seafood chain restaurant in the nation.
2000’s : A series of ownership changes and economic ups and downs result in a reduction in the number of Skippers locations.
2013 : A reimagining of Skippers begins with the opening of the first Fleet locations, focused on serving quality seafood to folks on the go.
2019 : Skippers celebrates 50 years of serving the Pacific Northwest!
TODAY : With over 100 Fleet Grab & Go locations and Flagship Restaurants across the Pacific Northwest, Skippers continues to grow by acknowledging the nostalgia that lives in the hearts of our loyal customers and continuing to provide quality seafood that is fast, affordable, and family friendly.
